Born and raised in France, Agnès was introduced to the world of engineering through her family. Her fascination with mechanics began early, watching her father tinker with car engines in their garage. But Agnès didn’t want to simply repair vehicles—she wanted to reshape the industry itself. This drive led her to pursue mechanical engineering at one of France’s top universities, where she graduated with distinction and set out on a career that would soon revolutionise car tyres as we know them.
Agnès Poulbot recognised that while car manufacturers were making strides in vehicle efficiency, tyres—one of the most crucial components for road safety—remained largely overlooked. Agnès’ research focused on developing tyres that not only enhance grip and reduce fuel consumption but also minimise environmental impact through the use of sustainable materials.
Her innovations have led to the creation of tyres that perform exceptionally well in various weather conditions, offering drivers enhanced safety in rain, snow, and on dry surfaces.
