However, her path took a transformative turn when she witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) in 2013. This catastrophe ignited a passion within her to address food security issues and environmental sustainability in her community.

Louise Mabulo's activism is rooted in sustainable agriculture and climate resilience. She founded "The Cacao Project," an initiative aimed at promoting sustainable farming practices and empowering local farmers in her region. Through this project, she advocates for the cultivation of cacao as an alternative crop, providing economic opportunities while preserving biodiversity.
