5 February 2025: Patience

Psalm 27:14
"Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord."Waiting is never easy.

I remember a season when I prayed fervently for a breakthrough—a job opportunity I desperately wanted. I believed I was qualified, I prepared diligently, and I sought the Lord in prayer. But the answer didn’t come right away. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months. I questioned God, wondering why He was silent.

During this waiting period, God was teaching me something deeper: patience. He was refining my heart, teaching me to trust Him even when I couldn’t see the outcome. When the right opportunity finally came, I realized it was far better than what I had initially hoped for. The wait wasn’t a delay; it was divine preparation.

God’s timing is perfect, even when we don’t understand it. If you are waiting for something today—a breakthrough, an answered prayer, a sign—know that God is working behind the scenes. Trust His timing, and let patience have its perfect work in you.

Lord, help me to trust You in the waiting. Strengthen my heart and give me patience for Your perfect timing. Amen.
