6 February 2025: Strength

Isaiah 40:31
"But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

Life can be exhausting. There was a season when I felt completely drained—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. The pressures of work, family, and personal struggles weighed heavily on me, and I felt like I had nothing left to give. I tried to push through on my own strength, but it only led to more exhaustion.

One day, I read Isaiah 40:31 and realized that my strength was never meant to come from myself. I had been relying on my own abilities instead of drawing from God’s limitless power. When I finally surrendered and asked God to renew my strength, I felt His peace wash over me. He reminded me that true strength comes not from striving, but from resting in Him.

If you feel weary today, know that God is your source of strength. He will renew you as you wait on Him. Lean into His power and let Him carry you through.

Lord, I am weary. Please renew my strength and help me rely on Your power, not my own. Amen.
