1 January 2025: New Beginnings

Isaiah 43:19
"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland."

January often feels like a fresh page in the book of our lives. The excitement of new resolutions and possibilities fills the air. But sometimes, we hesitate because of past failures or disappointments.

I remember a year when I felt stuck. The past haunted me—mistakes I made, opportunities I missed. I wanted a fresh start, but deep inside, I doubted that things could truly change. One morning, I read Isaiah 43:19, and it was as if God whispered, "I am making a way." That day, I chose to believe that God could do something new in my life.

If you feel like your past is holding you back, remember: that God specializes in new beginnings. It doesn’t matter what happened before—He is making a way for you. Let go, step forward, and trust in His promise.

Lord, help me embrace the new things You are doing in my life. Give me faith to step into this new season with hope. Amen.
