It Was Meant To Be ...

It was meant to be a fleeting meet, a passing moment in time, no more significant than the changing of the wind. It was supposed to be nothing more than a spark, a brief flicker of connection that would fade with the morning light. Yet, somewhere between stolen glances and laughter that echoed long after it should have, love found a way to linger. It did not ask for permission. It did not wait for the perfect timing. It simply wove itself into the unexpected, turning chance into something far greater than either had imagined.

It was meant to be nothing more than a night, a single memory tucked away in the quiet corners of the heart. But love refused to be forgotten. It settled in the golden hues of the setting sun, in the way words spilled effortlessly in endless conversations, in the taste of ice cream melting too quickly and coffee shared between breaths of possibility. It made a home in the in-between moments—the ones that seemed so small yet held entire worlds within them.

It was meant to be a temporary feeling, a fleeting rush of excitement that would surely fade with distance and time. But one call turned into another, and then another, until voices felt like lifelines. One week became two, and then a month, and before they knew it, forever had begun to take shape. In the spaces where plans unraveled and the seas between them stretched wide, love built something unbreakable. It was not the love that was planned, but it was the love that endured.

It was meant to be impossible, yet it became undeniable. Two souls, never searching yet somehow finding each other, clung to something deeper than reason, stronger than doubt. Across oceans and dreams, through uncertainty and change, they held onto one simple truth—when love is meant to stay, it will.
